I'm speaking for Ron Kampeas, which is why I'm not editing the article directly. The words "news pertaining to" should be removed from the fifth and last paragraph under "career" because its inclusion leaves the mis-impression that Kampeas spoke at the event about covering the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and not the conflict itself. In fact, he spoke about the conflict and not its coverage.
With this change, the entry would appear (more accurately) as follows: Kampeas covers the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the peace process relating to it, and he has spoken publicly about this subject in educational programs sponsored jointly by organizations like The Jerusalem Fund for Education and Community Development, at The Palestine Center. Two homes, not one. edit
Ron Kampeas has stated himself that he has two homes. One is in Washington DC and the other is in Israel. I have added the following description based on his description of the situation:
- He has two homes, one in Washington, D.C. and an apartment in East Talpiot, Israel[1], one of the ring neighborhoods in Jerusalem. The apartment was purchased with a loan made on favorable terms for olim, or new immigrants.[1]
Please read Ron's description of the situation (link) and please state how the above describe differs from his description if you feel it is incorrect. Please do not just remove it without comment. --John Bahrain (talk) 14:41, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
The article now uses non-impartial language to describe East Talpiot as "occupied." Is this consistent with WikiStandards? Rabbi-m (talk) 13:57, 14 June 2011 (UTC)

He comes to JTA from The Associated Press, where he worked for more than a decade in its bureaus in Jerusalem, New York, London and, most recently, Washington. He has reported from Northern Ireland, Afghanistan, Bosnia and West Africa. While living in Israel, he also worked for the Jerusalem Post and several Jewish organizations.
