this material appears in several sources not just the dictionary of Scottish architects... the initial source was Buildings of Edinburgh but it is not taken directly from that...the DSA source was used to fill in gaps but it is true that the Life section is taken primarily from that source---Stephencdickson (talk) 16:00, 7 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
The content in the "Life" section is taken largely from the Dictionary but this represents only a small aspect of the article as a whole. Deletion of this section would serve little purpose and the Dictionary was quoted as one of the reference sources from the outset---Stephencdickson (talk) 16:50, 7 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
