Album title "Gloss" edit

Did anyone hear the rumour that the new album is called Gloss?

Yep, I've heard it. The name was invented (along with many others) as a joke on the DD.com message boards. Somehow an Italian fan group picked it up, and the rumour ended up being printed in Italian media, and now is being picked up in some English media again.  :) Not that I wouldn't put it past Duran Duran to actually pick it as a title....it sounds like a DD album, doesn't it? Anyway, just a rumour for now -- they're being very close-lipped about the album this time around (and you can be sure they're trying not to let any demos leak like last time, too!) — Catherine\talkCatherine\talk 07:50, 14 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Singles section - OVERKILL edit

This is just way too much. Not only should these images not appear anywhere but on the articles for the singles, but they are way too huge and all of the information shown here should already be in the individual articles for the singles. All of this is absolutely not needed here - it looks like a fansite. - eo 20:54, 28 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Red Carpet Massacre edit

It's not a reliable enough source to put in the article yet, but a party-goer notes that the name of the album is going to be Red Carpet Massacre -- see http://notesonaparty.blogspot.com/2007/06/night-with-duran-duran.html

Youtube clips from the Hammerstein Ballroom show include Night Runner, The Valley, Box Full of Honey (and Lonely in your Nightmare, for good measure!) — Catherine\talk 21:02, 23 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

HEY GUYS SOMEONE SHOULD CHANGE THE NITE RUNNER.... THIS WILL NOT BE THE NEXT SINGLE... SKIN DIVERS WILL BE RELEASED IN THE UK ON JUNE 2ND http://www.teletext.co.uk/entertainment/mu...for+a+tour.aspx —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.110.187.126 (talk) 18:20, 8 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

"Bashing Forum" edit

The creation of a message board is not notable. Forums are created for a billion different reasons. It certainly does not merit its own header in the article and it most certainly is not more notable than the departure of a key band member during recording (as was mentioned in this edit summary [1]). I have no idea what the Bashing Forum is, but it certainly is not official, i.e. directly related to the band's official website or the website of their record label, so it does not belong here. - eo 16:56, 29 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
