History edit

Egbert noggins, you have removed my impartial and accurate account of the school's history in favour of your own version of highly selected pieces of information that denigrate the school and have little to do with its 99-year history. You may have a grudge against the school for some reason, but Wikipedia is not the place to air it. BTW I don't have any connection with the school, other than being an ex-pupil. Lonegroover. Any history is by its nature selective. You cannot be the judge of what is important in the school's '99 year history' any more than I. All we can do is submit information. Had you put your chosen information alongside mine then I would not have replaced it. Instead you chose to elevate your information above mine and in so doing eradicate a separate section on admissions. If you wish to provide information on architecture that is your prerogative but you are selecting information just as I am. If you feel the verifiable information denigrates the school perhaps it is the actions of those involved which is to blame rather than my bringing it to people's attention. Wikipedia is a forum for all information positive or negative as long as it is accurate. If you wish to resubmit your information, alongside mine please do so, I will not remove it.90.192.152.76 (talk) 11:28, 30 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

OK, sorry for deleting your content. I've merged your and my various bits of history and put them broadly in chronological order. Also removed the "Admissions" heading, as what was under it was really also part of the history. Cheers. Lonegroover (talk) 16:31, 2 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sorry if this has seemed a bit brutal- but Wikipedia has rules - and none of the text could be verified so it had to go. You need to study Wikipedia:Core content policies-- Clem Rutter (talk) 19:56, 5 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
