Staff officer? edit

If Bhatti was a company commander he could not have been a staff officer.Royalcourtier (talk) 04:45, 22 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Martyrdom edit

Wikipedia is not a place for religious or political dogma. Bhatti was killed in combat, he did not "embrace martyrdom".Royalcourtier (talk) 04:47, 22 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

This article is Terrible edit

So I click on a general that lost a battle, losing 84 tanks vs destroying 4 enemy tanks despite having air support, and all this article talks about is how great he was. --77.174.125.18 (talk) 14:18, 20 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

He was a company commander holding the rank of Major, not a General. A company doesn't have anything near 84 tanks so that would have been far outside his scope of responsibility. He received an award for gallentry for a tactical leadership not fighting a war. I agree that there is likely politicization here, so this article just needs to be a dispassionate factual record of the things about him that do exist. Need help with Photos edit

I have added information about the memorial for Major Bhatti at the site of his death southwest of Lahore, Pakistan. I have added two photos but would appreciate help with appropriately positioning them as I am new editing on Wikipedia. --Jstars780 (talk) 13:32, 25 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
