Implementation edit

Recommend a section (or separate article) on the US Railroads that complied or failed to comply with the act within the seven years. Seeing who met the requirements or didn't meet them measures the effectiveness of the legislation in inducing industry change. Srwalden (talk) 17:41, 19 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Impact edit

Recommend adding a section to the article detailing the importance of this Act in terms of scope and its impact on American railroads. This act was supposedly a landmark legislation in terms of worker safety by mandating the use of readily available technology to reduce the risk of life and limb to railroad workers. Yet there is nothing in the article noting the impact of the act on American workers or their families. Srwalden (talk) 17:41, 19 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
