Proposed Move
editANZ Stadium is no longer the official name of this stadium, it is the "Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre". Go to this page to see the stadium's website. Mathieumcguire 06:59, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
I've added a half-sentence at the beginning of the article to state that it is more commonly known as ANZ Stadium. The Courier-Mail refers to it in articles about the U2 concert tonight as "the former ANZ Stadium" or "the Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre, formerly known as ANZ Stadium", etc, etc. Steeden 23:19, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

QEII Stadium (Brisbane) → Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre – It is the clear and overwhelmingly WP:COMMONNAME used to refer to this venue. In the past two days alone, ABC News,[1] the Australian Associated Press,[2] Guardian Australia,[3] ESPN Australia,[4] Fox Sports News,[5] Sky News Australia,[6] Nine News,[7] Athletics Australia,[8] and Griffith University,[9] have referred to the venue as the "Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre
", with no reference whatsoever to "QEII Stadium
". — AFC Vixen 🦊 09:17, 19 March 2024 (UTC)
- I support moving the page back, but only because I moved in the first place and there isn't now consensus for the move. Safes007 (talk) 00:10, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
