There are no plans to extend PR-53 to PR-66 from Fajardo to Río Grande, probably because of the close location of the El Yunque National Forest. edit

That's because the current plans are to convert PR-3 from Rio Grande(where PR-66's second phase ends) to Fajardo(where PR-53 starts) into a freeway. —Preceding unsigned comment added by BoricuaPR (talk • contribs) 01:38, 12 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
