Is there a reason for him to be labeled as "II"? I'm unaware that there was more than one pretender of this name. If so, either there should be a link or note to future contributors about them, or -- preferably -- discuss them all in this article. -- llywrch (talk) 18:46, 10 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

I think it refers to there being an Alexios I, so this would be Alexios II, and as a pretender, he would be a pseudo-"Alexios II" -- 67.70.35.44 (talk) 21:59, 26 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
