Talk:Printing out the Internet

Latest comment: 6 years ago by InternetArchiveBot in topic External links modified

Hey, so far all I can see is grammar and spelling error: first sentence (with the help of LABOR and UbuWeb), and spelling of Tumblr. The section title what it would take to print out the internet is a bit lengthy and the section itself is very short. Maybe expand the content into a couple more sentences to make reading it easier and find a way to make the title less of a mouthful.

As for bias, it seems like you have a lot on the controversy surrounding the artwork. perhaps adding some praise or some more information on what the point of the piece is would help even the playing field cause it seems like there's more negative info in here.

you seem to have plenty of resources to back up your info so that's good.

Finally with notability i think you could possibly add more about the praises and/or consquences/repurcussions/etc. that stemmed from this project. If there are other projects that were inspired by this piece perhaps mention them, it might make it seem more notable and important if you mention the effects it caused other than just environmental. This is a work of art so maybe try to find a review or critique of it. Overall going in the right direction, for sure! Amk5458 (talk) 21:43, 6 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

There's some basic spelling and grammar to be fixed here, nothing too major (tumblr, not tumbler). Consider retitling "What it Would Take to Print out the Internet" as "Feasiblility", maybe? It seems like odd data to have in a Wikipedia article, more of a fun fact than anything. The last two sections look pretty good. Animidest (talk) 21:51, 6 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Great start edit

Great start and very comprehensive first draft! If I were you I'd just add a few links to tie the article to other things like maybe Kenneth Goldsmith or even introduce uncreative writing and the idea before thrusting the genre at readers. Another suggestion is to limit paragraph size and make sure that different ideas are separated. For instance the opening paragraph does a great job of talking about the subject, but it covers a lot and some of the content may fit better in body paragraphs. Again, just to make it easier to get into the article. Phoenix5100 (talk) 21:45, 6 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
