Deaths of Adalbert and his sister, Alexandra edit

Alexandra and Adalbert, the youngest two children of Ludwig I and Therese of Bavaria, died on the same day (21 September 1875) and in the same city (Munich), at the ages of 49 and 47, repectively, but were buried in two different cemetaries.

Of the 9 siblings: Mathilde died in Darmstadt, presumably buried there, Hildegard died in Vienna, presumably buried there, Adelgunde died in Munich, but was buried in Vienna (where she had lived in exile with her husband), Maximillian II, Otto, Luitpold, and Alexandra were buried in the Theatinerkirche (Munich), Adalbert was buried in the Michaelskirche (Munich), and the infant Theolinde's death and burial are unknown.

My question is why wasn't Adalbert buried in the family crypt in the Theatinerkirche? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 155.82.249.253 (talk) 15:26, 8 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
