Developer credit discrepancy edit

I recently came across this article which describes the development process of the game. The author describes himself as the primary designer for the game but with no credit given has no proof. I still found the article very interesting, though I'm not certain it's considered a trustworthy source? If nobody objects I'd like to link to it.

The result was merge into Power Blade. (no discussion) MuZemike (talk) 23:39, 21 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I propose that Power Blade II be merged into this article. Both articles are currently stubs, and the second installment is exactly the same as the first installment with the exact same gameplay. Power Blade II also I feel does not demonstrate a justifiable amount of notability to warrant its own article; it could be better mentioned in a much more concise fashion here. 2 in 1 article edit

Most games have separate articles, and as for the merger vote it was started, voted on, and closed by only you. And as for the section:

"One aspect of Power Blade that sets it apart form Power Blazer and Power Blade 2 is that if the player falls off the screen they would die. In the other two games the player simply falls back to the previous area."

The references would be the games themselves so how would one reference that? Dr. Stantz (talk) 15:50, 27 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

First, nobody participated in the discussion, so it is a tad late to disagree unless you have a good reason as to why. If you like, you can propose a split per WP:SPLIT, and we can discuss that separately.
Also, I do not think that that piece of information is encyclopedic, and you cannot describe gameplay and then cite the video game, unless you are possibly discussing a plot element. The reasoning is that it is very difficult to check and verify these facts as you easily would with written sources. Please read WP:VG/S as well as the series of newsletters for pointers on how to expand an article and sourcing. It also helps to look at other GAs and FAs and see what they're doing. OK, I see the extra information from the article you tried to recreate; it's not too bad, and I'll clean up some of it. I may have not seen it the first time, because all I saw in the history was the items material, which I removed for being gameguide material. MuZemike (talk) 16:09, 27 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Also, I see you have referenced the game's instruction manual. Have you been able to find one? I just ask because I have been unsuccessful in finding one online. MuZemike (talk) 16:11, 27 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
In fact, I am going to split the article back myself. It seems that you found a couple of sources that I think passes the notability muster that it can stand on its own. MuZemike (talk) 16:18, 27 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
The best online site I know for manuals is vimm.net (They also have power blade) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dr. Stantz (talkcontribs) 17:55, 27 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
That will be extremely helpful to other games as well as this. Thank you, MuZemike (talk) 18:47, 27 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation edit

I think that this article could benefit from a disambiguation. The PowerBlade is also a hockey stick. See www.powerbladehockey.com — Preceding unsigned comment added by 160.94.10.229 (talk)
