The airport is not listed as João Paulo II anywhere.
The airport's own website calls itself simply Ponta Delgada, and has no mention of João Paulo.
Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).
I have removed the comments "from the audience's sight". That is a red herring. Bullfighting enthusiasts do not really believe that what happens in a slaughterhouse is the same as what happens in a ring. If they did, they would be content to tour slaughterhouses. 70.190.102.49 (talk) 20:58, 2 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

The text ist quite wrong. There are 6 "pastores" who control the bull somewhat and prevent teh worst injuries if someone is really molested by the bulls.
But it is no "thug of war" because the rope is normally loose. There other peope teasing the bull to attack...2A02:810D:B340:4F10:B00D:AB4F:F6A0:32D8 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 20:22, 7 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
