wishful thinking doesnt become truth

edit

the truth is that eurovision song contest 2010 took place in bærum. bærum lies in the county of akershus and that wont change unless akershus joins with oslo.84.208.59.120 (talk) 19:21, 26 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

What!? Sorry, but none of that made any sense whatsoever. What has Bærum got to do with an article about Portugal? WesleyMouse 01:43, 27 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
He is referring to this edit. CT Cooper · talk 15:13, 5 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
I've been on Wikipedia for over five years and I've seen a lot of bizarre obsessions from various editors, but this perhaps makes number one for me. To 84.208.59.120 and a long history of other IPs, we have been through this a million times. The 2010 Contest was held within the Greater Oslo Region. There was no conspiracy theory by the EBU or anyone else to pretend that contest was hosted where it wasn't. It has been three years; let it drop. No one else cares about it. 1970 and 2000

edit

Portugal was absent from both those contests. Even though they still held their own "Festival da Canção", the article itself states that for those 2 years, the contest was just for Portuguese entertainment, and not as an intention to select an entrant for Eurovision. Therefore I have reverted this edit which was trying to include "intended entries" for the year's that Portugal was not intending a Eurovision entry. Placing that information is factually incorrect and misleading to the general reader. Wes Mᴥuse 17:57, 31 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Meaning that the 1970 song shouldn't be on the list now, which it is. Aejsing (talk) 23:10, 14 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
I have change the contestants list accordingly. 2.106.84.12 (talk) 17:13, 29 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
