This person never voiced Popeye. Only four peopel have voiced Popeye ever in animation, discounting the 2004 CGI special:

William Costello from 1933 to 1935
Jack Mercer, from 1935 to 1983
Mae Questel, who often in sat in for Mercer between 1944 and 1946 because Mercer was in active U.S. Navy service
Maurice LaMarche, in the 1987 series Popeye and Son.

I have therefore removed all associated references from the article.
