Merging the article Maxie, no. Including information about Maxie in this article, but pointing to Maxie (Pokémon) for more, yes. Just my opinion. Deskana 12:42, 2 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Same old song. Maxie is a minor character overall, with no identity outside of his membership in Team Magma. (He fails my Professor Frink test, in that he has fewer appearances and is less important in the context of Pokémon than Prof. Frink is in the Simpsons.) He's defined as Team Magma's leader, and only as Team Magma's leader. - A Man In Black (Talk | Contribs) 01:08, 6 September 2005 (UTC)Reply
Actually, I see Maxie as more important, and he has a big role in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald. But saying that, it makes a lot of sense to have him in this article anyway, since she does lead the team. Sonic Mew | talk to me 17:12, 14 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Team Rocket edit

Team Rocket should be merged in this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.244.187.116 (talk)

No it shouldn't, it's too large. Not a snowball's chance in Hell. --The Raven's Apprentice (PokéNav|Trainer Card) 15:35, 26 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
No it shouldn't, because this is a page for the Hoenn regions bad guys. Wait a sec, why is Team Galactic on there?!?! Xxx0 0xxx 20:10, 29 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Yes, it should because it is for every game —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.191.175.209 (talk)
Turns out it got merged after all, and the article's still not too large. OK, acceptable size, acceptable move. --The Raven's Apprentice (PokéNav|Trainer Card) 13:55, 9 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Founded edit

What's the point of writing "Founded" if all of them say unknown? 70.65.76.175 23:23, 1 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

That's a template: {{Fictional secret organisations}}. This article doesn't use it exclusively, so you can't remove the parameter. (You can subst and remove it, but that's just pointless.) --The Raven's Apprentice (PokéNav|Trainer Card) 14:00, 9 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Thanks to the awesomeness of m:Parser functions we can. hbdragon88 18:08, 9 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Except that I have no idea how to use them. --The Raven's Apprentice (PokéNav|Trainer Card) 06:14, 10 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Cancel that, looks like someone already fixed that. --The Raven's Apprentice (PokéNav|Trainer Card) 06:17, 10 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I ♥ pokemon! i ♥ James!(sexiness) He's like the best character!!!! woot!

Other Pokémon games? edit

what about the 'crime syndicates' mentioned in other Pokémon games, notably coliseum? maybe they aren't significant enough or are already covered in the games' articles, but it still seems appropriate to at least mention them. just a thought.72.205.45.139 22:32, 16 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Game/Anime differences edit

This page seriously needs some help with distinguishing between what comes from the games, what comes from the manga, and what comes from the anime. Team Rocket's section is fine (and I didn't notice anything particularly "off" about Galactic's either), but the Aqua and Magma sections look like somebody stuck the game and anime info in a blender and didn't really care where it ended up. The "main" info section should be stuff that applies to ALL forms of the group, with the game/anime/manga parts pointing out things specific to that version of the Pokémon universe (like the bit about which team is "more evil" than the other, which varies depending on which game and also in the anime/manga, and whether or not Team ____ knows about other gangs.) And yeah, there's already the "cleanup" tag and all, but I thought it might be a little more helpful if people knew WHAT they need to clean up! 63.215.28.145 (talk) 20:09, 6 January 2008 (UTC) What about in Pokemon Ranger? Don't forget the Go Rock Squad. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.46.225.31 (talk) 17:13, 31 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Maxie edit

I always thought Maxie was a girl and Archie was a boy. That's what it said in the game. C Teng 21:57, 27 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

...no, they've always both been men...—Loveはドコ? (talkcontribs) 00:39, 28 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Cyrus edit

I don't recall the games ever saying that Cyrus "touched the Pokémon Mesprit". Where is this coming from? (Izwzyzx (talk) 03:32, 28 March 2008 (UTC))Reply

Team Galactic has been shut down for good. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.30.142.218 (talk) 08:45, 11 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Jessie and James edit

In the 'in the Manga' section of Team Rocket, it says that Jessie and James were married and having a baby. That happened in the Electric Tael of Pikachu manga, not in Pokemon adventures. You need to differentiate that, as Jessie and James never showed up in Pokemon Adventures. Mew Mitsuki (talk) 23:32, 29 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Pokemon ranger crime syndicates edit

Hey souldent we put the pokemon ranger crime syndicates because the are part of the series. Poohman0 (talk) 05:51, 20 November 2008 (UTC) yeah and what aboute team Snagem and the Sydacates of Pokemon rangers? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.239.150.39 (talk) 03:15, 8 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Reunited with the exclamation point? edit

What the heck is this about? 207.172.132.55 (talk) 23:35, 11 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Nadia influence? edit

Is it worth mentioning the influence of Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water on the Team Rocket trio? There's a very similar group, the Grandis Gang, in Nadia of three slightly bungling villains with similar personalities, chasing the main characters to capture Pikachu. Err, a crystal necklace. Some of Team Rocket's gadgetry even pays homage to this (Grandis et all get around near the start of the series using a balloon attached to their tank). I am 90% sure that Team Rocket is an homage to the Grandis Gang- the only alternative would be that both series are referencing something even older as a common source. 43.244.33.36 (talk) 03:47, 1 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Very late reply, but both the Rocket trio in Pokemon and the Nadia villains are extremely obvious homages to the villains of the very popular Time Bokan franchise. 134.129.150.219 (talk) 10:39, 22 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Age?? edit

Someone please explain how you know that Cyrus is 27 years old? It isn't a big deal if it's there, but (a) Wikipedia is supposed to have true things and (b) there is no way of explaining this fact. 2D Backfire Master (talk) 19:01, 23 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Looker says he is twenty seven.

yeah and he looks 27(also usually 27 year olds are the ones that try to rule the world with a cat)anyway he is more than likely 27--Pokemon30 (talk) 11:42, 27 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Terrorists edit

Could we specify Galactic as terroists? Though, all of the gangs are terrorists,Galactic protrays many of the stereotypes. 04:56, 19 July 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.14.15.12 (talk)

Cyrus: Citation Needed edit

The entire Cyrus section is devoid of references. At least two might be necessary, even if you got all the info from Platinum (never played Platinum, just Pearl). It seems pretty dense (in size, not stupidity), and someone could assume it is false. Citations please? 2D Backfire Master (talk) 23:51, 18 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Butler: Magma Team Scientist? edit

Isn't Butler a former scientist for Team Magma? Why isn't it mentioned? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.156.42.161 (talk) 20:12, 24 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

No mention of Snagem edit

Come on. Wes, the player character of Colosseum, is a former member. Why no Snagem? Tsutarja494, the Grass Snake Editor (talk | contribs) 11:48, 3 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
