Plexus a1 Article Structure:


1. A Brief Overview: First few paragraphs will be a succinct synopsis (basic details that describe the work as a whole: creator, size, material, series, gallery/exhibition).

2. Design and Construction: Outlay the process of sewing a network of 60 miles of thread. Techniques used to create optical illusion/luminous effect. Transformation or the Dialog with the Space in the Renwick Gallery.

3. a1’s Role in The Overall Plexus Series: Discuss thematic overlap and “centerpiece” status. Also, explore a1 as an outlier and the origin of a1/series' name.

4. Social Conversations: Gender politics related to the use of needlework. Symbol for the LGBTQ community. Piece’s relation to the navigation of social convention.

5. Reception: Specifically public/press. Opening/First Renwick Gallery exhibition.
