"At the time, British law prohibited relatives of the queen from marrying in England." That doesn't make any sense. Surely the issue was that Lord Harewood (who despite being the Queen's first cousin is not an HRH because he is a female-line grandson of George V) was divorced and marrying the divorced mother of his illegitimate son. There is scant reference to her most usual name Bambi. My understanding is that she was widely known as Bambi Tuckwell before she ever met Athol Shmith, and remains Bambi to her friends and family to this day. She is referred to as such in the media and generally, except in the most formal of contexts, when she is Patricia. -- Jack of Oz[your turn] 20:10, 11 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
