IS their official ideology really Marxism-Leninism? They are certainly not running a Leninist style of government. Is their ideological goal the attainment of a Marxist society, eventually?

according to http://www.pcrm.md/md/program.php, yes. --Soman 10:47, 23 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
I think we shoul indeed add smth in addition to communism as ideology, i.e the political position (real). But what could it be? centre-left? 213.35.213.206 12:40, 24 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

More Social Democratic than Communist

edit

As far as I see, this party claims to be a workers party, but it doesn’t act like one. This party is like the Dutch PvdA or the French Socialist Party, and others who clamed to be socialist but were in reality social democrats ( social liberals ). Moldova is not a socialist state, it is a capitalist state ruled by a communist party, like china but with a little more care for democracy.

But even if they were communist what kind of communists are they ? Stalinists, Democratic Socialists, or Marxist Leninists ? I think they are social democrats altough they say there communists. They have betrayed socialism like all those Stalinists, Maoists, and Social Democrats. If a socialist / communist party rules a state with a capitalist system, than that party has betrayed the principals of socialism.--UDSS (talk) 22:55, 17 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image:Pcrmlogo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. "Describes itself as democratic socialist"

edit

Can somebody please point me to the sentence(s) in the source given that say(s) the party describes itself as democratic socialist? The website describes the party as "democratic socialist", but there is no mention of the party claiming to uphold democratic socialism or describing itself as a democratic socialist party.
