- No, you are incorrect. The fact that they have the same doctrine does not mean that the same word is used. The English word is armoured or mechanized infantry. - The german term is used because there is no proper english term for that doctrine (see the article Panzergrenadier). Armoured and mechanized infantry refers to a different doctrine and thus it is improper to translate to and link to such.
