A bypass for the town of Pakenham to open very soon edit

The ‘controversial’ Pakenham bypass will be opened by December 2007 (expected). Maybe in August 2007 - if we are lucky, since AbiGroup [almost] always finishes road projects months ahead of the scheduled / with timeframes by six months or so. This bypass was planned back in 1969 along with others. About time the "pollies" committed this bypass with funding in 2001 and sometime in 2007 to be opened. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.168.57.62 (talkcontribs) 17 May 2007
