Although a reference for this article says they may have a green oral disc, I haven't seen that anywhere else and wonder whether it relates to the green mouth area described and shown at http://portphillipmarinelife.net.au/species/7747. This feature doesn't appear to be in NZ versions of this anemone at all. Another good reference is NZ coastal and marine invertebrates by Steve de C Cook.
