I suspect this article really ought to be merged with the Turkish lira article, as far as I have been able to determine they weren't exactly distinct currencies. TheCurrencyGuy (talk) 22:49, 1 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Oppose: The Turkish lira is the currency of the modern state of Türkiye, while the Ottoman lira is a historical currency. Joesom333 (talk) 19:05, 11 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
