editSlovene
editIs there some evidence that he was Slovene? Born in Carinthia, Czech (?) surname, German first name sounds more German/Austrian to me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.32.53.115 (talk) 22:40, 8 December 2015 (UTC)
Indeed. His father was of Czech descent. Potiorek spoke German as his mother tongue but also spoke a bit Slovenian. -> [[1]] — Preceding unsigned comment added by Proeliator (talk • contribs) 19:49, 25 June 2016 (UTC)
Count Morsey Warning?
editWhere is the reference for the Count Morsey warning about dangers and Potiorek's acceptance of the risks. Having found and translated Morsey's published testimony of ten year anniversary I can see that Potiorek accepted the risks but Morsey does not say that it was he who protested the dangers but Rummerskirch and that the suggestion of staying put until the troops cleared the streets was put by Major Högers. Is there some other account that explains what Morsey himself stated or should this be corrected? ihowgate@aol.com — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.20.143.199 (talk) 11:02, 28 September 2019 (UTC)
