edit

I have done some changes because the artist doesn't want some information that used to appear here. Please, don't change what I have done. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Finesfacil (talkcontribs) 17:12, 6 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

I have reversed your changes. People do have some say about what information Wikipedia gives about them, but there are limitations. See WP:Biographies of living persons for information. We generally discourage people from editing information about themselves or about people or things over which they have a conflict of interest, which you may have if you are receiving editing requests from the article's subject. Simply not wanting information to appear here, if it's publicly accessible information, isn't adequate justification for having it removed. I didn't see anything that was obviously sensitive or controversial about the information you removed, so for now I've restored it. Largoplazo (talk) 21:35, 6 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
In fact, if you are associated with Olga Andrino, the existence of the conflict of interest should be indicated via a tag at the top of the article, as long as the content in it is substantially yours. Largoplazo (talk) 21:37, 6 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
I should have noticed earlier that you created article. Please understand that there is no ownership of articles on Wikipedia. Once an article is here, others can, and probably will, edit it at will, as long as their edits conform to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Largoplazo (talk) 21:40, 6 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
Having said all that, I should ask you: are there particular concerns over the presence of the information that you removed? Largoplazo (talk) 21:49, 6 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
Actually (sorry that I'm doing this in so many stages), I looked at her bio on her website and I see that some of the information here doesn't even match what's on her site. So, for now, I've restored your changes. But, please, can you explain whether all the deleted information was wrong, or whether some of it was removed for other reasons?
