Citizenship

• Aleksandr Grigoryev, Iachtchouk remains a citizen of Ukraine. His citizenship can only be revoked by a President's decree. Until and unless that happens Ukraine recognizes only his Ukrainian nationality. See Закон Про громадянство України, in particular Article 2 (Section 1) and Article 19 (last paragraph). Transliteration from Ukrainian?

Why is the French transliteration of his name used in this article? Shouldn't the English transliteration(Yashchuk) be used since this is the English Wikipedia? Wasmachien (talk) 01:05, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
