What is it? edit

What is it made from? A lot of information here and I still have no idea what I'm eating... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 160.3.82.4 (talk) 03:37, 5 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Are obleas the same as oplatky? edit

The picture shows Czech oplatky. Are they the same thing as obleas? Exactly the same or just similar? If so why doesn't the article mention them? If not then what are they doing in the picture?

what does "like a grain of sand" mean? edit

The text describing the history of the oblea suggests the word may come from the word for a long and narrow bread that "was sold like a grain of sand to be served at the end of the meal and dipped in wine." I'm completely at a loss as to what this may mean. I wonder if it may be a translation error, maybe direct translation of a figure of speech? Ribarnica (talk) 16:21, 5 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
