David Frum opinion piece

edit

David Frum wrote an op-ed and it's noted and cited in the article. Op-eds are nice, but they are not reliable sources in and of themselves. The second question is, who is David Frum and why should anyone care what his opinion is? Why would his opinion be noted but not others? The article should be using news sources, which report on the conclusions of big organizations or reports, not individual Op-eds. I removed it but it was put back into the article with no explanation. Harizotoh9 (talk) 21:19, 10 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

There's this really neat thing on the internets nowadays called "Wikipedia" and it has information about lots of things. Sometimes you can get answers to your questions by reading articles in it...like looking up who David Frum is.
Also, you could read two sections above your addition to this talk page for previous discussion about this mysterious person.---Avatar317(talk) 04:23, 11 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Repositories in other countries

edit

Article currently reads in part No country has permanent storage sites for nuclear energy waste. This is both false and ridiculous. We need a List of radioactive waste repositories obviously. See for example Morsleben radioactive waste repository or Manche storage centre, not examples of best practice by any means but just the first that came to mind. See Category:Radioactive waste repositories for more examples. Andrewa (talk) 00:02, 8 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
