Cecil Beaton edit

The article currently says that NP took over from Cecil Beaton on the latter's death in 1975. But CB died in 1980. He suffered a stroke in 1974 which made it harder for him to work; was that the reason for the handover? Tsuguya (talk) 14:58, 21 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Wartime activities edit

I just watched a BBC4 documentary on Parkinson. In covering the War years, it rather implied that his work was confined to morale-raising on the Home Front. It didn't mention any work in RAF reconnaissance, as stated in the present article. I see that this claim is sourced to a recent article in the Financial Times, whicb is usually a reasonable source (as far as any newspaper can be), but I wonder if there is some confusion. Maybe someone can find a more authoritative source one way or the other.109.158.46.132 (talk) 21:15, 21 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
