Notability edit

This bridge has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, such as The Wall Street Journal and NBC Nightly News. Comfr (talk) 05:04, 8 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Article title edit

It appears that this span lacks an official name, so a survey of news articles would be in order to see if the media has reached some sort of consensus on how to refer to this bridge. In the interim, I've reformatted the name to drop the definite article and apply more standard spacing, although it may need to be hyphenated as a compound adjective ("11-foot-8" vs. "11 foot 8"). The bridge is formally called the "Norfolk Southern–Gregson Street Overpass". I moved it back there because (a) it is the official name and (b) it is no longer 11-foot-8-inches tall. --Ahecht (TALK

@Ahecht: Even if it's no longer "11 foot 8 inches" tall, there's still WP:COMMONNAME? – The Grid (talk) 01:57, 2 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

International attention? edit

The Wall Street Journal isn't "international attention", it operates in the United States. The words "international attention" appear several times and yet nothing seems to back this up. 81.220.195.53 (talk) 09:07, 7 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

The location isn't what brings it international attention, in fact it has nothing to do with whether or not the bridge receives international attention. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 02:42, 13 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

"Brother" in Russia edit

It is bridge (overpass) in Sankt-Peterburg, Russia, in crossing of Sofiyskaya street with Lensovetovskaya road and Kuz`minka river. Citizens named it as "FoolsBridge" (RU - "Мост глупости"). Over 140 tracks crashed its waggons under it, despite prohibition signs. Read more: «Газель» не пройдёт - GAZelle don't pass; 140-я «Газель» врезалась в мост - 140nd GAZelle crashed into the bridge. Result of its existence edit

Are there parts of Durham that simply cannot be accessed by tall street-legal vehicles? knoodelhed (talk) 15:44, 4 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

No. Well, not because of the bridge, anyways. You can cross the railroad (northbound) at Duke st. which is right next to Gregson. You can access the area "behind" the bridge with various side streets from Duke st. If for some reason you absolutely must use Gregson you can turn right at Main (just behind the cameras) and then left at Buchanan (which has a level crossing). -- Mocha2007 (talk) 15:57, 14 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Archives edit

I have added archives for all references. These small articles are most at risk of losing the RS, and the RS are more difficult to recover, for small articles. Thanks, Tribe of Tiger Let's Purrfect! 04:53, 2 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
