Russian <noindex> tag edit

I have been expanding the section of the article noindex#Russian <noindex> tag. Navigation strips in Web pages are very common making this information useful, and it should be in Wikipedia somewhere. However, it has nothing to do with the HTML robots meta tag, and I am wondering whether it would be better to carve it out and put in an article of its own. I have not done this because I can't think of an appropriate name for the article. Any thoughts? HairyWombat 15:12, 28 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Why not leave the article pretty much as it is and change its title. The introduction would also need to be changed, but little else. 74.205.216.165 (talk) 16:49, 8 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
Let's do this. I will rename the page "Noindexing", and will then edit the "noindex" redirect to point to the relevant section in the revised and renamed article (which will be "Robots meta tag"). 74.205.216.173 (talk) 20:54, 7 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
Oops, I am not permitted to complete a move. Will request this. Also, could the mover please remove the "lowercase" template from the article. 74.205.216.173 (talk) 21:12, 7 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

NoindexNoindexing – Discussed on Talk Page. New name better reflects content of article. Could the mover also please remove the "lowercase" template from the article 74.205.216.173 (talk) 21:12, 7 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose the name of the tag in noindex and the article refers to this tag. The verb noindexing is very uncommon usage a google search for "noindexing" yields just 6000 results [1] compared with 110,000,000 for "noindex". [2]. I've added a redirect from noindexing to here. --Salix alba (talk): 23:05, 7 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
