A note edit

The term "horse nicker" redirect to this page. Looks like an error to me, as a horse nickering seems to have nothing to do with nickernuts.

Is the way they are called in Barbados. The popular ethimology says: "the nickernuts contain arsenical. From this, arse nickers, and so horse nickers". --83.43.179.222 20:44, 10 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

The Devils Coinpurse edit

The seed pods, which are brown and very prickly, covered with thorns, are known as the Devil's Coinpurse, but I can't find a web based source to validate this. When dry and empty, that is exactly what they look like. A devilish coinpurse. FX (talk) 03:07, 25 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 2 external links on Nickernut. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

There are so many things wrong with these pages, links and redirects edit

Considering how difficult it is to actually fix it, the errors just exist here, wrong, for over a decade now
