Subdivision necessary edit

This list, if ultimately completed and up-to-date, would be excessively long for a single list article. As of this writing, the number of listings on the State Register of Cultural Properties is currently approaching 1950 places and districts according to the latest online spreadsheet which itself hasn't been updated for over seven months.

This article page would be better served by providing an overall description and history of the state register program and then serve as an index page to the actual listings grouped by no more than 500 per list pages which would still require four separate articles. I concur that a single list will be too long. Perhaps it could be organized by county, more like the National Register of Historic Places listings in New Mexico page. There is also some overlap. Quercusechinus (talk) 23:31, 14 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Full list of properties edit

A full uptodate list of approved properties in the NM Register might be too long (and redundant) for a Wiki page. I accessed the Excel sheet today (Oct 14, 2023). The file is 246KB (small), and the list runs to #2076 Penasco High School, Taos (Registered with the State Dec 9, 2022). Without necessarily expanding the list in the Wiki, better to have a good link to this spreadsheet. https://www.nmhistoricpreservation.org/assets/files/registers/SR%20NR%20Excel%20Database(1).xlsx

I leave it to someone who is already vested in this page to consider this. Respectfully, Ric Dash.wiki.IF (talk) 23:41, 14 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
