Just now I returned to the article after a long absence and noticed the COI template still was on the page although I recalled having previously noticed this item above and, after looking over the article and agreeing some of the additions did not appear to conform to WP standards, had rolled them back or corrected them. (I also had visited the user Talk page and explained the difficulties, as the edits suggested a pattern of good faith editing with an incomplete understanding of Wikipedia policies such as verifiability and no original research.) So just now I removed the conflict of interest template, since the article now seems to be fixed.
