Removal of content

edit

Is it acceptable to remove content from the article if it's unsourced? @Josu4u: has removed uncited content, but my concern is that more content is probably better for now, and then we can go through and cite. It's a valid point to note that there currently is no source for those claims, so I think a citation needed tag is the best idea.[citation needed] What do you think? The content is added an IP user recently, and there's no mentions about Sruthi Reddy even in any articles of that movie. There are lot of characters who play supporting roles, we cannot even consider it as cameo.Josu4u (talk) 06:31, 29 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
Here's a source (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm6780199/) from IMDB which shows that she played in the movie. This source also supports that claim (http://www.greatandhra.com/movies/reviews/1000-abaddalu-review-blockbuster-hit-48895.html). Appable (talk) 06:36, 29 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Josu4u: For now, let's not remove unreliable sources without a replacement. While I have no issue with replacing sources with more credible ones, I think an uncited claim is by far worse than a claim from an unreliable source, assuming the content is factual in nature (and not an opinion at all). @Appable: The reference that you added is about "1000 Abaddalu' Review: Blockbuster Hit", It purely a wrong reference, also the reference didn't even mentions about Shruthi Reddy. Then why you added it as a reference for Shruthi Reddy (See : [1]) ?Josu4u (talk) 23:59, 31 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
