Coordinate error edit

{{geodata-check}}

The following coordinate fixes are needed for

Cape Hinchinbrook Light Station. The location given in the article is in the ocean, several miles south of Cape Hitchenbrook. The actual lighthouse position I provide is not exact because one cannot easily get to its location on Hitchinbrook Island for a ground check but a much better position is: 60.2387945, -146.6460349 (source: USGS Topographic Maps)

Split edit

Per this, the Valdez-Cordova Census Area ceased to exist almost two years ago. With the 2020 Census report due to be released within a matter of weeks or months, it should be viewed as a priority to act on this change. Unfortunately, the encyclopedia has proven to be slow to act on anything which can't be accomplished through a bot or script. In the course of diffusing content, I've discovered areas from the Yakutat borough annexation (around 15 years ago) which are still attributed to this census area. This shouldn't be too hard to accomplish; I just wanted to provide notice to interested editors before proceeding or encourage any of them to help out and save me some trouble. Feel free to take this on, since you seem to know what belongs where. Please ping me when the split is done, there are bot-related updates that will also need to happen. Magic♪piano 16:24, 19 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Support, per above. Libcub (talk) 10:14, 18 January 2023 (UTC) Since the new articles were created I turned this into a dab. Reywas92Talk 22:34, 2 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
