fleet lists

There appear to be three overlapping fleet lists in this article (infobox, top of "Fleet" section, and bottom of fleet section). these lists don't appear to match, and none of them have the B727s pictured at [1] and mentioned at http://www.nationaljet.com.au/profile.html. I can't find the right info, or I'd fix it. --Scott Davis ^Talk 23:51, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

I also found the fleet list makes no sense. Why is it divided into different sections? Does National Fleet own them all? There should be just one list of the aircraft that National Fleet has, to make it easier to understand. Maybe it could be stated after each aircraft model (in brackets) who it is operating for. Also, the "Surveillance Australia" section lists Q200 and Q300 aircraft which are not listed in the top section. Makes no sense. Plus, with the exception of the Q300, the aircraft listed are all no longer manufactured. Some are real vintage aircraft. Some aircraft, such as the 727, ceased production before the National Jet company was formed in 1989, so they must have acquired them second hand from somewhere. This company is the operator of some old and vintage aircraft! Sounds like an advertisement

Was this page written by National Jet themselves? How about this line: "National Jet is the leading provider of contracted aerial passenger and freight services." What does "leading provider" mean? Sloppy writing

"is part of the Cobham Plc group in England."...What does this mean? Is it in some sort of alliance with Cobham in England? Or is National Jet a British owned company?

"It also provides specialist contract aviation services to government and large civil organisations and wet leasing of aircraft and crew including to Qantas under QantasLink." ...the bit about wet leasing doesn't list anyone other than Qantas, so how can it provide "crew including to Qantas" if there is noone else?

"Employing over 800 people, National Jet, through its various contracts, flies to over 50 destinations throughout Australasia." ...how do we know how many are employed? Are they employed by "National Jet" or are they employed by "various contracts", in which case they don't work for National Jet. Are the destinations relevant at all? If this is a "charter airline", as stated, then the destinations are those of the airlines that it contracts to, or whoever hires National Jet aircraft. Has been purchased

Has been purchased by Regional Express, (REX) is now being rebranded to National Jet Express. Cobham Search and rescue was bought by another company and is no longer connected (although internally we still use their logistics services at times.) In perth base SAR is based out of Airflite, Regional services (the airline) is still out of the hangar.
