downdraft /dangerEdit

while it mentions the speed this whirpool travels and it is a good speed to mess someones senses up has there ever been any indication is this whirlpool has any downdraft (most whirpools don't contray to myths) also any death rates to the whirpool or does it jsut look cool with no actual danger?
