The article as it stands suffers from purple prose. For example, under the heading "History", the third sentence of the second paragraph states "The architecturally stunning space was designed by the nationally renowned Freelon Group..." (emphases added) The adjectives "stunning" and "renowned" are inappropriate for an encyclopedia and should be sourced or removed. Also, in the lede, it states "By realizing their mission, MoAD connects all people through their shared African heritage." It has not been established that the Museum has realized a mission, nor is it settled that everyone shares "African heritage". I'd like to see a sympathetic editor take on the project of Wikifying the article by stripping out any flowery language, and providing reliable sources.
