Murder of J. D. TippitJ. D. TippitHarizotoh9 recently moved J. D. Tippit to Murder of J. D. Tippit without discussion per this edit. While I generally agree that redirects like this are warranted for lesser known individuals, I think the question here is whether or not Tippit should have a stand alone article per WP:BIO1E and WP:CRIME due to weight of historical significance and the fact that a large number of Wikipedia articles reference Tippit by name. I think the move/redirect should be reversed, but I'm bringing it here for consensus. (Relevant discussion at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2012 May 24.)   • Support moving back, also seems to fall under WP:BRD, as it was boldly moved, and now we can (should) revert it (in disagreement, prompting a discussion if there is question to move it again, leading to the most supported position becoming the one used). --Nouniquenames (talk) 04:56, 23 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
