Ramakant Gayakwad edit

R Gayakwad, author of Linear Integrated Circuits, published by Prentice Hall, was/is a faculty member of this College. However this information was removed from the article. It was the truth. I don't know why. Polytope4D (talk) 17:34, 12 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

He or she does not appear to have an article but if you have a source that substantiates that he or she is (a) important or noteworthy (ideally notable but that guideline doesn't govern article content) and (b) connected to this institution, feel free to edit this article to add this information! (Incidentally, I looked through some of the article's history and I didn't see this information. If you can find an old revision of the article with this information, please post a link to it and we can try to figure out why it was removed.) ElKevbo (talk) 22:04, 12 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

As an instructor at Mt. Sierra College between 2000-2015, I had the privilege of knowing a man named Ram Gayakwad (if the above referenced person by Polytope4d is the same person. Based on the brief research I did on the person named Ram mentioned above, combined with the school's mission, he is most likely the same person. The person named Ram mentioned above authored several works on linear integrated circuits, all currently available on Amazon. I just don't know for certain if he authored any works in his lifetime, but it is easily discoverable information, as I can ask the other co-founder). Ram Gayakwad was the co-founder of Mt. Sierra College and its first president before his untimely death in 2001. Before beginning its life as a degree-granting institution, he taught a few of the certification courses mentioned in the article. EFHeup (talk) 05:57, 2 December 2020 (UTC)EFHeupReply
