COI and NPOV edit

As my family no longer owns this property, I believe that I was not violating COI or NPOV just now, when I added the sentence here about the sale of the property, and also added a wikilink to the article about my (deceased) father: Wilson. (However, I will NOT edit THAT article, because that WOULD be a COI violation.) Acwilson9 (talk) 07:05, 28 September 2018 (UTC); Acwilson9 (talk) 04:36, 5 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Photos edit

RE: "It is requested that a photograph of better quality be included ..." Real-estate websites, included the "Redfin" page cited, have photos from which to choose, from the year 2018. Also, my family likely has other photos of the property, from the years 1966-2018, when it owned the property, and possibly much older photos, too. Possible future improvements to this article edit

In order to add/change the following, references/citations would need to be found and included:

° In the 20th & 21st century, this property was more commonly called "Jolly Hollow" and "Jolly's Hollow", rather than Mt. Pleasant, as can be seen in copies of early 20th century Newton newspapers (which exist on the web - "Jolly Hollow"), and in documents of the Newton Conservators ("Jolly's Hollow").
° The Wilson family owned the property 1966-2018. After the deaths of Andree Wilson (2016) and Richard Wilson (physicist) (2018), their 7 children/heirs sold the property in July 2018 to Profs. Gregory A. (Northeastern U; physics) & Ila R. (MIT; neuroscience) Fiete, neither of whom (yet) are represented by Wikipedia articles. The Wilson's bought the property in March 1966 from the Edwin M. & Evelyn M. Scribner family.[1] Both families often called it "Jolly's Hollow"; the Wilsons know that the Scribners did so, based on a sign on the HO model railroad that the Scribners left behind in the basement when they moved to Wellesley, MA, after selling the house to the Wilsons.
° Circa 1917, the house was owned by Addison Center Burnham, and adjacent properties were owned by Ida S. Ripley (daughter of Charles S. Davis - earlier owner of the house; spouse of William Z. Ripley, Prof. @Harvard U.), per https://newtonmagis.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=664c92ddd659421992280014409f6b84 ; https://books.google.com/books?id=9MJYAAAAMAAJ&pg=PA327&f=false#v=onepage&q&f=false ). Burnham was living at this house in 1922: https://books.google.com/books?id=VRpaAAAAYAAJ&pg=PA31&lpg=PA31&dq=addison+C+burnham&source=bl&ots=emKhGMOKkZ&sig=W9kfNqQRzRAESpDMwgOW6U6AXdI&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjK4dXjse7dAhWV14MKHU51BrcQ6AEwDnoECAMQAQ#v=onepage&q=addison%20C%20burnham&f=false

I have now implemented some of my own previous suggestions (above). Acwilson9 (talk) 07:02, 8 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
