Requested Change: Title: The mountain is located in Maricopa County, not Apache County as incorrectly published. Please change or remove the article title's listed county. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kylemalk (talk • contribs) 00:04, 16 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
> Yes, there are indeed two Mount Ords. This specific article, however, was written about the largest, best known of the two, named after Major General Ord. The mountain's county listed in the title, however, was mislabeled at the outset by the first writer(s) who incorrectly cited the inhabited county based upon this misinterpreted USGS article[1], which details the second mount Ord, or "Ord Peak". The "Mount Ord" this article correctly details is located, however, in Central Arizona straddling the border of Maricopa and Gila counties (Mount Ord Peak Topographical Map). The USGS cites the other lesser-known peak in the link you provided above[1], which refers to the secondary "Ord Peak" on the larger mountain, Mount Baldy, located in Apache County, Arizona.
The information in its entirety within this article is correct, save for the incorrectly listed County name in the article title. The County name should be removed, or corrected to one (or both) of the two appropriate counties.
