Capitalization

The article title is motocross World Championship but the first paragraph of the article says Motocross World Championship. I think one of them must be in error. Brianhe (talk) 06:22, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

Proposed merger with FIM Motocross World Championship

I think the two articles should be seperate just as in the MotoGP articles. Let the FIM Motocross World Championship article be the main page with a link to the championship winners page.Orsoni (talk) 11:57, 6 September 2009 (UTC)

Switch old category columns?

Someone should switch the columns for the old 125cc and 500cc categories. The current situation is confusing because it looks like MX1 replaced(in terms of prestige) 125cc and MX3 replaced 500cc, while it's the opposite... 217.136.57.181 (talk) 13:21, 6 May 2010 (UTC)

I think the FIM is to blame for the confusion. If you switch the columns for the old categories, they would be listed as 250cc / 125cc / 500cc. In my opinion, that would be equally confusing for someone new to the sport.Orsoni (talk) 06:46, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

I made some mistakes, when in made those motocross pages:

• FIM Motocross World Championship <--- Someone please delete this page, because accurate page is this: Motocross World Championship
• Please change those headings:
  • 2008 FIM Motocross World Championship season to 2008 Motocross World Championship
  • 2009 FIM Motocross World Championship season to 2009 Motocross World Championship
  • 2010 FIM Motocross World Championship season to 2010 Motocross World Championship

Championship column alignment

Currently the column for the premier class of motocross lies empty. In my opinion, the current premier class in motocross racing should occupy the #1 column, regardless of which displacement class they are derived from. The current chart leaves an unexplained empty column. I believe it might be better to insert a separation in the chart beginning in 2014 as used in List of Grand Prix motorcycle racing World Champions by year.Orsoni (talk) 14:52, 25 October 2017 (UTC)
