MoskvaMoskva (disambiguation) — the primary use of "Moskva" is the city, so Moskva should redirect to Moscow, and the dab page should be at the new title. Chanheigeorge (talk) 16:37, 23 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

  • The primary use of "Moskva" is the city in Russian but not in English. In English everybody calls the city Moscow. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 21:51, 23 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
    • Does not matter. We are discussing what "Moskva" should redirect to. So we are looking at what is the most likely meaning of "Moskva" when there is such a link, or when somebody types "Moskva" in Wikipedia or a search engine. And the answer is the Russian capital. So "Moskva" should redirect to "Moscow", then the dab page should be at "Moskva (disambiguation)". Chanheigeorge (talk) 04:09, 24 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • Comment I think it should point to the Moskva class helicopter carrier . 76.66.195.206 (talk) 03:38, 25 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • If we must establish the primary meaning of "Moskva", it would most certainly be the Moskva River. However, I would still oppose any kind of move as I am not convinced we can predict with any degree of accuracy what readers typing in "Moskva" into the search box would really want to find in most cases. There are plenty of English-language maps and atlases that mark the city as "Moskva" (if only as a supplement to "Moscow").—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 13:17, October 26, 2009 (UTC)
  • Oppose — None of the uses are especially common in English, so to me this looks like a case of no primary topic. --Una Smith (talk) 05:25, 27 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose Moskva in English, regardless of its usage in Russian, has no primary usage in English as the capital city is known almost exclusively as Moscow, while other places are known in English commonly as Moskva. 84.92.117.93 (talk) 12:05, 30 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
