POV
editThe last two paragraphs of this article have a bias against this political party, most strikingly in the last two sentances, which simply make a scathing comment. Some of the diction ("tricks," "cheating") is also of concern. The grammar is also rather poor, and is in need of some retouching. I encourage anyone with knowledge of this party to sort it out into a NPOV. --Palpatine 06:48, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
This article is still quite weak and is still biased. Lots of sources needed. --The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. (talk) 20:09, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
changes
editI did some rewording on the Gundalai case - he has been detained for 25 hours, not jailed from 2000-2004 - , added another high-profile case, and deleted the cases of B.Batbayar and General Baatar. B.Batbayar (Baabar) certainly was not in prison from 2000 to 2004. He may have been detained at one point that I don't know of, though. J. Baatar was convicted to 7 years in 2003, but for spying, not coorruption.
The allegations after the elections in 2004 were a two-seded affair, however with the oppposition probably having the stronger points. The turnout was actually lower than in 1996.
Fair use rationale for Image:Logo mprp.gif
editImage:Logo mprp.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
ideology
editI reverted the changes that made it seem as if the MPRP was actually still pursuing Marxism-Leninism. Feel free to re-add it if you find a reliable post-1990 source (current MPRP party program should do).
Kommunist crime by this party
editCan somebody please translate a new insert in Mongolian version that stating mass stalinist purges conducted by this party. I guess possibly certain propaganda reason this fact has been eliminated from all foreign translations of this party information. The new insert title is "Niigemd Uchiruulsan Gemt Uildluud". Orgio 10-19-2008
there is a big risk that some party supporters might delete this fact from Mongolian version so I am attaching new insert here for your language translation:

- You might want to look at the dedicated article Stalinist repressions in Mongolia instead. --Latebird (talk) 00:26, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
- The point is this article is kind of intentionally hiding the past dark events that this organization took in charge and that is making serious confusing understanding for international readers. The are most families in Mongolia suffered by communism crimes initiated with this organization so it is very important at international level what Mongolian organization has clean history or not. - Yes, it's all a big conspiracy. Sigh. [Removed irrelevant stuff]
- On a more serious note, this article might be relevant as well. C.R. Bawden actually discusses some purges of the party ranks in the early 1930s (that time, members were only expelled, not killed), which IMHO might be relevant, too. Yaan (talk) 18:36, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
New name
editHow come there is no section about the changing of the name and the director?
Recent changes
editThe article has been recently modified, and I'm concerned about this rewrite. An example of my concerns is the sentence "In 2010 Nambaryn Enkhbayar established a political party and named it Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party after the existing party received approval for the old name of Mongolian People's Party from the Supreme Court of Mongolia on 24 June 2011" which doesn't make any sense, because it implies events of 2010 occurred after 2011. While I've modified that sentence, I'm still concerned about the recent changes, which, in my opinion, have introduced a number of problems. I'll attempt to fix these problems, and not just revert the recent changes. PhilKnight (talk) 10:18, 6 August 2013 (UTC)
