I don't think we can because of copyright violation, but there's no harm in having it referred to in the talk pages as an aid to research. If I learn a link to an unauthorized hosting of an article (something done frequently by people, not unusual to find people hosting articles) can go in the articles I'll link it. For now it's in the references and as soon as possible we can get the footnotes straight too instead of just listing some resources as currently done. This article needs some further research. Michelle Greene in her book The Dream at the End of the World: Paul Bowles and the Literary Renegades in Tangier in Chapter 8 describes the first meeting of Brion Gysin and Hamri, after Bowles introduced Hamri to Brion Gysin. Gysin lived in the house with his boyfriend Hamri. It could not have been in 1948 that Hamri met Gysin as the Bowles house was being renovated and it took 2 years to obtain title to it. It is not obvious here yet, but when fixed the article should include a statement of fact that it was Paul Bowles who introduced the 18-year-old Hamri to Brion Gysin, and that Hamri and Brion Gysin shared the same bedroom. Paul and Jane Bowles never employed Hamri to cook for them, so I am pleased that this statement was removed as unverifible. BKLisenbee

See "The Dream at the End of the World: Paul Bowles and the Literary Renegades in Tangier" by Michelle Green. She states that Bowles was so upset when "Hamri" had found a painter Brion Gysin to tutor him and departed the Bowles' household that Paul Bowles would not speak to Brion for months. Indicating a tutorial relationship.

Can people please help on this page. I am researching cuttings on various sites like LexisNexis that I have access to. The Bowles spatting is a minor issue. just search this site

re papers of record as sources

the Independent (a UK daily paper of record) published an Obituary of the subject Mohamed Hamri in 2000. According to the vandal who removed this link the Independent removed the Obituary. It still is on Nexus Lexus for subscriber view and as it is a printed primary source in a paper of record it is an important source for this article. I imagine the person removing this is User: BKLissenbee as he has removed the same article previously. The recent edits do bear a resemblance to those of BKLisenbee; see Category:Suspected Wikipedia sockpuppets of BKLisenbee. Note that the recent edit summaries, continue to include defamation/libel accusations, but also make assertions such as "Everyone knows Hamri was a drunk" and "illiterate Hamri". -- Gyrofrog (talk) 19:26, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
