The very top of the Clock Tower was a Prison...or a Dungeon if you will, as ( I hope many of you know ) the last person to be killed by sentence was in that dungeon, he was hanged.
It is said to this day that his spirit still lurks atop the Clocktowers priospn/Dungeon that he was forced to have started his eternal slumber in....

It wasn't the very top; that is a mechanical room containing the workings of the clock. The gallows was in a room 1 or 2 stories below that, currently used as storerooms. (The exact location where this teenage love-triangle murderer was hanged is no longer known for certain.)
And it was hardly a dungeon -- this tower was the highest building in the state of Minnesota at the time. Nor was it a prison cell -- he was not imprisoned here, but in the jail, and only brought here to be executed. T-bonham (talk) 07:15, 30 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
