Is it just me or did Mike Hatch run as an Independent post-primaries in 1996 garnering very low numbers? I'm practically certain of it, since I was going to school with his daughter then and it was a big deal. How late did he stay in? I'll have to visit the libraries and check microfiche at some point unless someone knows this. Thanks!

Important details like this would seem very appropriate to add to his entry with all of the anti-democratic calls for Peter Hutchinson (Ind.) and Ken Pentel (G) to drop out of the race. -- colin lee
