Notability and COI edit

People who seem to be associated with the group being described may not be in the best position to write a neutral article. Already there is a lack of third-party reliable sources that have commented on this organization.

  • Though Microcredit is well known, our Wikipedia article on that topic does not mention this particular campaign.
  • Google search for 'Microcredit Summit Campaign' finds the organization's web site as the #1 hit, and does not pick up any newspaper coverage on the first two pages of results.
  • There is no Wikipedia article on the RESULTS Educational Fund, the sponsor of this Campaign, nor on Sam Daley-Harris, the president.

This Campaign seems to be a particular charity that is hoping to have an impact, but may still be at an early stage. The complete list of all the past annual reports seems way excessive. If the article is to be kept it needs real references and it needs heavy trimming. EdJohnston (talk) 06:25, 28 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Notability edit

Multiple problems: GNG, SPA even after eight years. Microcredit Summit Campaign website appears fallow; nothing seems to be dated. The parent organization in 2015 spent three times its revenue, indicating some is very wrong. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rhadow (talkcontribs) 08:08, 17 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
